Front-End Software Engineer

The Role

This role is a key part of Vysioneer’s mission to develop products and user interfaces that support treatment efficacy assessment in oncology trials. You will gain broad exposure to the full product lifecycle—from development to post-launch user engagement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop scalable cloud platforms to integrate AI into cancer care applications
  • Build web-based healthcare applications that support medical imaging workflows
  • Build tools and pipelines to support AI research and deployment
  • Conduct user interviews to gather insights for UI/UX and system design
  • Lead usability testing and deliver user training
  • Write unit tests, end-to-end tests, and technical documentation to support regulatory submissions
  • Support the operations and maintenance of customer data and process analytics
  • Deliver high-quality work on tight timelines

Requirements

  • Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) or TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3
  • Hands-on experience in building web applications using modern frameworks and UI libraries, such as React.js, Redux, and styled-components
  • Skilled in web application bundling with tools like Webpack and Babel.
  • Proficient in dependency management using tools such as NPM and Yarn; experience with Lerna for monorepos is a plus
  • Experienced in automated frontend testing using tools like Jest, Cypress, or Selenium
  • Strong team player with effective communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience developing backend functionality using tools such as Python, Node.js, or Firebase
  • Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s)
  • Knowledge of Nginx, Lua for web server configuration and deployment
  • Experience in health care data and communication standards (DICOMweb, FHIR)
  • Experience with health information systems (PACS, EMR)
